A Welcome Note from the President of IAFMHK     

IAFMHK has been established since April 2008 as the Hong Kong Chapter of International Academy of Financial Management™ (IAFM™). I am grateful to have been appointed by the IAFM Global Board of Standards as the first President of IAFMHK.

IAFM™ (previously known as American Academy of Financial Management) is one of the world’s fastest growing professional associations with more than 200,000 members, associates and affiliates in 145 countries. IAFM™ hosts and organizes certification training worldwide and offers exclusive board designations to candidates who meet the highest professional standards and assessment criteria.

One of the most reputable professional designations of IAFM™ is Chartered Wealth Manager™ (CWM™). Wealth Management is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the financial sector. This program focuses on developing relationship management, sales, communication and core financial planning skills to equip wealth management professionals with graduate level education.

We strongly believe that Hong Kong is one of the key hubs for the development of wealth management and private banking industries. The establishment of IAFMHK aims at promoting the CWM designation and its associated training program.
